REFUND & RETURNS POLICY
1. CANCELLATION RIGHTS (COOLING-OFF PERIOD)
• For all online orders, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of placing your order (the “cooling-off period”) for a full refund.
• If we have already started work on your order within the 14-day period, a pro-rated refund will be given based on the proportion of work completed. We will provide a breakdown of work done before processing the refund.
• To cancel your order, contact us at tech@peteashton.co.uk with your order details.
2. REFUNDS FOR FAULTY OR UNSATISFACTORY SERVICES
• If we fail to deliver services as agreed (e.g., work is faulty, does not meet the description on our website, or does not achieve the agreed outcomes), you are entitled to either a full refund or free rework of the service.
• To claim a refund for faulty services, you must contact us at tech@peteashton.co.uk within 30 days of service completion, providing details of the issue and any relevant evidence.
• We will review your claim within 5 working days and notify you of our decision.
3. NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES
The following services are non-refundable once completed unless faulty or misdescribed:
• Personalised services (e.g., custom website design, tailored social media content, author website builds).
• Services cancelled more than 14 days after ordering, where work is complete or in advanced stages.
• Services where you have approved the final work and signed off on delivery.
4. REFUND PROCESS
• Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days using the same payment method you used to place your order.
• No administration or processing fees will be deducted from your refund.
• If you paid via bank transfer, we will require your bank details to process the refund.
5. DISPUTES
If you disagree with our decision on a refund, please contact us at tech@peteashton.co.uk to discuss the issue. If we cannot resolve it amicably, you may refer the matter to the UK’s Small Claims Court or a relevant alternative dispute resolution service.
